We played Notts at Norwood Park and following a lot of recent (and overnight) rain the course was in favourable condition - but with no 'run'.  The afternoon however turned out to be fine with some warm sunshine at times.  

It was good to play against Notts again and the format of 2 scratch pairings and 3 handicap pairings worked well.

The match clashed with arranged and re-arranged county scratch matches so a lot of our lower handicap ladies were not available for this fixture and I would like to thank everyone who played in this match.  

There was some close matches (and some not so close)  - Unfortunately for L & R it was a 3-2 victory to Notts.

We look forward to welcoming Notts to Longcliffe for the 2024 fixture.
