2^ndTeam + Market Harborough Senior Gentlemen 

This fixture is played as an AM/AM with one L&RVLGA Lady and one Market Harborough Senior Gent to score on each hole, playing off 90% handicaps. It is a very popular fixture with the ladies.

The weather for the fixture was rather overcast to start, but soon developed into a warm sunny day. The Market Harborough course was in very good condition and all the ladies enjoyed playing the course.

As always, the Market Harborough Senior Gents were both excellent company and very hospitable. For the meal afterwards, we had a choice of Chicken or Salmon, followed by Cheesecake or Sticky Toffee Pudding.

It was the turn of the Market Harborough Senior Gents to organise the fixture this year and 

they provided bottles of wine for both “Nearest the Pin” and the Winning Team. 

Nearest the Pin for the ladies on the 8^thHole was Sue Gee from Kibworth Golf Club.

The Winning Team with 84 points were Bob Roberts©, Colin Eastwick, Annette O’Meara© from Charnwood Forest Golf Club and Penny Coventry from Ullesthorpe Golf Club.
