Thursday 21^st April 2015 at Kibworth Golf Club

It was a lovely warm spring day when 32 ladies played in the annual 2^nd Team Captain versus 2^nd Team Vice Captain match to the sound of the lambs baa’ing, the crows squawking and the occasional train in the distance.

The course was recovering nicely after the exceptionally wet winter and the balls were running. All of the matches were played in fantastic spirit and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their selves.

The nearest the pin in 2 on the 6^th hole was won by Christine Ratcliffe of Lutterworth and the nearest the pin on the 9^th was won by Ann Horsborough of Cosby.

The overall result of the match was a win to the Vice Captain’s team 5-3, so continuing the trend. Congratulations to ‘Drina’s team.

I would like to thank all of the ladies who played and also President Janet for acting as our starter for the match.
