1st team and County Senior Men
April 13th at Charnwood Golf Club
Well what a fantastic start to the season, not only did we have the most glorious weather but a team member had a hole in one, on the sixteenth hole with a three wood, hit a perfect shot 188yds.
Andrena Porter So congratulations to Andrena Porter who was presented with a bottle of Champagne from the Captain. Andrena very kindly put a bottle of red and white wine on each table.
The format for the day was Am-Am, one lady and one gent to score on each hole.3/4hcp.This seems extremely popular with all members of both teams and we had both Presidents to wish us good luck on the first hole.
The winners were Keith Elliot, Gilbert Scoular, Roisin Mason and Wendy Greenlees with 77pts
Runners up were Paul Lowe, Mike Brown, Di Johnson and Corrinne Boyd with 75 points
The course was in very good condition considering the awful weather we have recently experienced and the catering was excellent so a big thank you to Charnwood Golf Course for accommodating us.
Roger Corp the Senior Captain along with Keith Elliott organised an excellent day and our thanks go to Roger and his team for a game played in the best of humour
