Another lovely sunny day. The course was in super condition and we certainly had our cardio-vascular exercise. The pin positions on the greens were very tricky and tested our skills but the games were enjoyed by all.

Lincolnshire were excellent hosts. We all enjoyed a lovely meal of Salmon on Baby Spinach and veg or the vegetarian option, followed by Lemon Brulee tart or Fruit Pavlova. There was a discernable drop in volume when the puddings arrived. All in a good day.

The result was a win to Leicestershire & Rutland 5 - 3
