2nd/3rdTeam v Nottinghamshire at Radcliffe on Trent Golf Club.

Gosh, what a start to my first match of the season, 26 degrees and very little breeze. 

A bit of a nightmare having to sort out ladies Handicap Index, Course Handicap and then the 90% allowance, far more complex than the old system!

All a bit of a learning curve and I shall endeavour to go out third or fourth in future matches.

My thanks go to Christine Ratcliffe who stepped in at 7:15 a.m. as a replacement for one of our ladies who was feeling unwell.

Captain Yvonne welcomed Leics & Rutland ladies to Ratcliffe on Trent GC and made us feel very welcome.  Pat and myself had a lovely game with Yvonne and her partner Jane.

After the 7th game we were all square and just waiting for that final match to come in, hoping that it could be a half…… however, it was not to be and Nottinghamshire took the game resulting in a 4 1/2 - 3 1/2  win to them.   Thank you ladies, we were very gracious losers.

An excellent day and a course I look forward to playing again.
