Monday 2^nd July Cosby Golf Club

It was a beautiful, hot and breezy Summer Day at Cosby. The course was very dry after weeks of hot weather and no rain. The greens were very fast. Hats, suncream and plenty of water were in order.

Northants had some really low handicappers but some matches were very close.

The stars of the day were Sue Barker and Janey Heaney who comprehensively won their match.

The final result was a 3-5 loss which was very creditable considering the handicaps.

The meal of chicken, leek and mushroom pie followed by Summer Pudding and ice cream was delicious.

Thanks to Cosby for hosting the game and a lovely meal.

Everyone enjoyed the day.
