The 1st team entertained Derbyshire at Willesley Park Golf Club in the annual ' Wooden spoon match'. We had a wonderful day and the hospitality given by Willesley was excellent. The course was very well set up, but very challenging if you did not stay on the fairway, as some of us found! The food was superb, especially a very naughty Banoffee cheesecake.

The chatter and banter afterwards was evidence of the spirit the games were played in, the best news from the day is that Derbyshire took the Wooden Spoon home with them, promising to return it next year. Thank you to everyone who played.
