The 2nd team played Staffordshire away at Trentham Park on Friday 15th May 2015. It was an early start for some ladies, but everyone arrived in good time and spirits.

The weather was perfect, sunshine and often quite hot. The course was lovely and in good condition, with some walks from green to the next tee through the woods, where the bluebells were in abundance.

Staffordshire once again fielded a strong team, with most of us receiving shots. The games were played in good spirit and some of our ladies already requesting they play in the match next year, to meet up with their playing opponents again.

It was a resounding win for us 6 – 2.
